About the founder, Jeff Setzer…
A graduate of Kansas State University (Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering), Jeff spent the first years, post-graduation, as an EIT performing mostly electrical and plumbing design at a small consulting engineering firm in Topeka, KS. Moving to Houston, TX in 1990, Jeff held mechanical/HVAC design engineer positions before obtaining his PE license in 1992.
He continued to work as a consulting engineer but spent the majority of the next 20 years as a project and construction manager on designs ranging from large hospital additions/renovations to major educational buildings. In addition, Jeff was involved in retail, industrial, hospitality, residential, and government projects, ranging from small interior renovations up to significant infrastructure projects.
Jeff graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2019 with a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management. The curriculum for this degree focused heavily on Quality Engineering and Systems Engineering.
The Setzer Family
Jeff and his wife, Tiffany, married in 1996, have two wonderful sons, and welcomed a new daughter in 2020.
Their oldest son, Logan, was diagnosed with a brain tumor the summer before his 5th grade year. He struggled with the immediate effects of the tumor plus the results of numerous surgeries and radiation treatments. Jeff’s son is now legally blind but continues to move forward and succeed in spite of the odds against him.
Their younger son, Dylan, dealt with the effects of losing his playmate and best friend at an early age because his brother could no longer do the things they used to do. However, through this loss, Dylan became a compassionate, caring, and loving individual. He and his wife, Hannah, enjoy serving on mission trips through their church.
Throughout his marriage, Jeff became fully aware of how precious life is. Spending as much time as possible with family and on mission trips with his church are his two favorite pastimes. He also enjoys helping people reach their goals because time to make an impact and leave an impression is short. Don’t hesitate to reach out if he can help you reach yours!
